I recently had an impromptu psychic reading by an incredibly gifted woman, Shawn Cohen that revealed a lot of interesting things for my family and me, but within this reading came a few messages for everyone. I met Shawn through Facebook. She is currently living in London but was coming to the area to visit family, so we agreed to meet one day while she was here. Bear with my reading because at the end, there are messages for all of us that tie into this article.

Shawn and I were having a great conversation over dinner when she suddenly asked me, “Who’s Paul?” She added, “I’m getting 3 Paul’s”. My father’s and grandfather’s middle name is Paul and my cousin’s (the same grandfather’s sister’s son) first name is Paul. As it turned out, my deceased grandfather was contacting me through Shawn. He wanted me to know that his greatest joy is to look out for me and to let me know that I am following my sacred path.

He said he will “move mountains for me”. All I need to do is to ask.

He also wanted me to know that my grandparents are very proud of how I’m “helping millions and millions and millions of people” and I have a lot of support and guidance from the spirit world in my endeavors. He added that I should not listen to other people who question what I’m doing because I’m already doing it.

I believe that part was intended for my parents who lovingly try to get me to find another profession to help subsidize my income because I make less than poverty level as a webmaster. And I’ve thought about going back to being a child & family therapist, but there is a sense of urgency to keep doing what I’m doing right now because I can reach so many more people and now I know that the spirit side confirms and supports my spiritual path.

Shawn then said, “Linda. Who’s Linda?” I told her Linda is a friend who she and I had a falling out recently. Shawn told me that I need to contact Linda and make things right because Linda is one of my sisters on the other side. I sent Linda a text message recently but she hasn’t returned my message.

Shawn then asked me, “Who’s Sara?” I don’t have any family or close friends with that name. Then Shawn said, “I’m getting Celine…Sara Celine.” My sister’s name is Tara Celine. Shawn asked, “Who is Paula?” Paula was Tara’s friend who committed suicide many years ago and this has weighed heavily on my sister’s mind.

Paula specifically wanted Tara to know that “I’m okay. I took the easy way out. I’m there for you and will always be there for you.” Paula added, “I didn’t go to purgatory…there is no purgatory!” This was an inside joke that Tara and Paula had when they were younger, thinking this is where they would end up as a result of their wilder days. Paula reassured Tara that she’s alright and she is with family on the other side adding, “We’ll see each other someday but you’ll live to be an old lady with lots of wrinkles (laughing)”. Spirit has a wonderful sense of humor.

It’s important to know that Paula was joking about taking the easy way out. It isn’t. According to past life regression hypnotherapist, Dolores cannon, when you commit suicide, you create a ton of karma that has to be repaid in future 3rd dimensional realities.

Shawn:

We have free will. We are not punished for this but we will have to complete our lessons on some other journey. No one gets out of school without passing all the tests, so to speak!

It seems that when the spirit side realizes there is a connection to our 3rd dimensional reality, they’ll line up in droves to get their messages out. The next connection was the deceased boyfriend of my other sister, Lola.

Shawn: “I’m getting a Dave…David and 7:15pm”

7:15pm was the time that David died after a car accident many years ago but I remember that day like it was yesterday.

Dave (drummer) and I (rhythm and lead guitarist) were starting a new band. I made a practice tape that I was going to give him that weekend.

Dave and I used to go fishing together a lot and he’s the only witness to the strangest “catch” ever. At the time, he was playing in a band called the “Volts”. I helped him tear down the equipment at the end of the gig so we could go fishing around 4:30 am (the bars closed in NY at 3am). We grabbed a 12 pack of Bud and off we went. By noon, all of the beer was gone and we were talking about going for a beer run when I hooked into something. It didn’t give me any resistence and I thought it was a stick or something. What I hooked into was a mesh grapefruit bag with a full can of Budweiser in it! And yes, we drank it…haha. Unfortunately, Dave was my only witness and he’s now on the other side.

We were told that he was in a coma after he lost control of his car and was partially ejected from it. We were just about ready to visit him in the hospital when his parents called and told us he died. I thought if I could only have gotten there sooner and put some headphones on his ears for him to hear the music…or to tell him, “Hey Dave, the fish are biting!”…then maybe that would have woken him out of his coma.

David and Lola are soulmates and Lola has since been married to a wonderful man, Tom, who is an absolute saint.

David wanted Lola to know that it felt like a long time since that “experience” (remember, we are here to “experience” life) and that Lola was the love of his life. David wanted Lola to know “It was my time. Tell Lola there is no reason to mourn. We always look out for those we love. I have no judgment, we don’t judge over here. If you need our help, we’re here. You’re with a good man. It’s what is meant to be. Don’t stir up any old memories. Let go and know that it’s okay to move forward.”

Dave stated, “There is no separation from family or pets. There is no Jewish, Protestant, Buddhist Heavens, we all go to the same ‘heaven’.”

Shawn:

There can be many houses of a holy nature in the spirit world for devotion. So you may find great cathedrals and synagogues and so on there BUT this is to bring comfort for all who once worshiped God or Source there. This does not mean they don’t “get it” on the Other Side but it is a way to express themselves. So what if you were a Priest or a Rabbi. Shall you not have a place that has meaning for you on the other side? Yes, the Great Halls of Learning and The Great Library which houses the Akashic Records are also there, along with many, many exquisite places of beauty and concert halls for musical shows, choirs and rock and roll! In other words, everything you see here but more clear, no damage to it, no decay, all fresh and beautiful in an everlasting beauty.

Shawn saw David holding a hammer and some nails. “I’m keeping busy. We love to work with our hands and the joy of life is creation so I’m helping people design and build houses on this side.”

David mentioned Sedona, AZ, which is where I felt one of the most amazing energy votices at Boynton Canyon. He said that was “very special, look for more of that feeling to come. Specifically, a big pyramid shaped vortex coming out of the ground.” I mentioned to Shawn how I saw 2 UFO’s while I was in Sedona and Dave said, “I know, I was there with you!”

Shawn said that my grandparents also spend a lot of time with my sisters, adding that they recently visited Lola and she saw them. When I told this to Lola, I asked her, “Did you see Grandma and Grampa recently? And she confirmed, “Yes”.

Keep in mind that spirit is multidimensional and can be with many people at the same time.

There was much more, but those are personal messages from spirit to family.

Here are the messages that you all need to know. While we all have spirit guides and guardian angels, we also have family members who help us on our spiritual journeys. For example, when I pass, I’ll be there for my daughter whenever she needs me, but she already has her own spirit guides and guardian angels. I’ll be added support, just like my grandfather is for me.

Your soul family is much larger than you ever imagined. I also have another person named “Mickey” who is on the other side helping me. He might be my best friend or a long distant relative but he is part of my soul group, just as many of you are who are reading this article.

If you are religious, take the good from it, but don’t accept any fear or guilt from religion because there is NO judgment on the other side… there is only lots of love and lots of laughter.

There is no jealousy on the other side. Despite Lola and Dave being soul mates, David still wants Lola to be happy with Tom on this side of the veil. If you have a loved one who has crossed over, they want you to be happy and it’s alright to date other people or to marry or remarry. If you are soul mates, then you’ll be reunited in due time. In the meanwhile, love and love again.

The emotion that you feel is undeniable when you are connected with spirit. When Shawn was telling me how much my grandparents love me, she and I both began to cry. That connection is in all of our DNA. Whatever your grandparents, parents, great grandparents etc… experienced is all locked into your cellular DNA. This is how we are all connected. They know when it’s our time to cross over. My grandmother will have pirogues waiting for me and my sisters so I told my sisters that when we pass, we should not only follow the light, but also follow the smell of pirogues!

Most importantly, please remember this: YOU are NEVER alone! I’ve had a lot of people tell me how they feel so alone on their journey because no one seems to understand how they feel. If you ever feel down, sad or depressed, KNOW that you are truly LOVED by SO MANY PEOPLE (along with your spirit guides and guardian angels) and they are always there on the spirit side to help you. Just ask! Keep this in mind too: What preoccupies your mind will bring that thought to manifest. So, if you are trying to make contact to the spirit side with a message, yet your mind is thinking more about your current situation, then that will be the predominant thought that will continue to manifest.
