Edgar Cayce: The
Earth is Catching up with Time
by
Gregg Prescott, M.S. Edgar
Cayce, known as the 'Sleeping Prophet' once stated, 'The
Earth is catching up with time' but what does this mean? Terence McKenna’s 2012 Timewave
Zero theory is
based on the premise that time is spiraling towards the singularity. Ian Xel Lungold believed that
creation is
speeding up because there’s less time. Are
these three theories related?
Cayce
was born on a farm near Hopkinsville, Kentucky on
March 18, 1877 where as a youth, he was learned the ability to absorb
information by sleeping on his school books. At the age of 21, he developed an unknown type of
throat paralysis to
which doctors could not find a cure. Using the same hypnotic technique
from his
youth, Cayce diagnosed his own medical issue and restored his voice. He also discovered that he
could do the same
for others through a self-induced hypnotic state of consciousness.
Cayce
performed this service, which would soon be known as
the Cayce Readings. While
in a hypnotic
state, Cayce could answer virtually any question about anything, but
his
generosity would eventually lead to health issues. When people used his talents for ego or
materialistic reasons, then Cayce’s health would deteriorate.
Some
of Cayce’s predictions include the beginning and end of
both the First and Second World Wars, the lifting of the Depression in
1933, the
deaths of two presidents in office and as recent as 2011, the sinking
of Japan.
Some of Cayce’s other predictions included earth changes: "Watch New York, Connecticut and the like. Many portions of the east coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the west coast, as well as the central portion of the United States. Los Angeles, San Francisco, most of all these will be among those that will be destroyed before New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear. This will be another generation though, here; while the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia, these will disappear. This will be much sooner. The waters of the Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico." Go

Terence
McKenna is best known for his Timewave Zero program
which is based on the I-Ching and reflects time as spiraling towards
the
singularity which will create a new age of human entity. Ian
Lungold works on an entirely different premise with a
similar result. Lungold’s
work is based
on the Mayan cycles of creation (referred to as the Underworlds) and
culminates
with the belief that everything that could possibly happen, will happen
at the
same time.
Time
is linear and is only relevant to this planet. A day on Earth is calculated by the amount of
time it takes for our planet to fully rotate on its axis. A day on Mars is similar, but different
because it takes Mars approximately 28 hours to revolve around the sun,
proving
that time (as we know it) is only relevant to this planet. When we cross over to the
other side, time, as
we know it, no longer exists.
Is
it possible that all three men are correct in their
suppositions? As
the Earth is catching
up with time, are we heading towards the singularity where everything
that’s possible
will happen at the same time?
Only
“time” will tell.
